Winter in New England

I'm having a really slow day today due to the weather. It is so depressing, one day it is snowing and the next day we have rain. I hate all these weather changes, we went for about 5 weeks with below freezing weather and today it is 45 outside and raining. I'm so sick of children being sick from the weather it only gets worse with the weather change, When people say how's the weather where you live,? I can honestly say I don't know let me check after all I live in New England so if I don't like the weather all I have to do is wait ten minutes. AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG!

heeheehee! One of these days we'll win that lottery and buy our own island! And then we won't have a care in the world. except for hurricanes and typhoons of course!

Sounds like you have the same weather problems we do out here in the northwest. Just wait 5 minutes and the weather will change - guaranteed! Spring is worst! One day - wake up with warm sunshine and by the time you get to the shower, it's raining. As soon as you get out it's snowing. Then it stops and turns to rain again, then hail, then it all stops. Then the winds hit and the sun comes out again. By now it's 10:00 am and time to hit the cycle all over again. AARRGGHH is right! But, I wouldn't live anywhere else. It's beautiful here - weather and all. And here - you don't tan, you rust. We all have webbed feet too.

Heh! we got about a good 5 inches last night! I am literally burried in. But I won't complain quite yet, I called work and took a snow day! :)

hhmmmm... Where supposed to have freezing rain tomorrow morning, then turning to all rain. {gyuk} I almost rather wish it would just snow!

Gotta love our weather, hey if you come over today take the sidewalk slowly especially around the corner, I hate this weather.

It's raining like crazy here...has been all day long!

I love how my town knows how to clear sidewalks off. I had to walk downtown today with my son in the dinky little umbrella stroller through snow covered sidewalks. Ergh!

Well, just as we thinks winter is over, Mother Nature gets ready to show her ugly head and give us a doozy of a storm. (so they say!) If I'm not on tomorrow, I'll be back asap, we are going to have sleet and possibly rain tomorrow, weighing down the snow, plus blizzard like conditions tomorrow night. Hopefully we won't lose power, cuz then we'll have to treck out to my mil's house just so we don't freeze!

The weather here in Sydney is even stranger...In January, it was 45 degrees Celsius one day, then went down to a whopping 22 degrees the next...talk about weather swings!

spring is going to be here within the next week or so <breathes sigh of relief>. this winter weather is killing me.

Ha ha ha! *BUMP* Boy oh BOy I am sick of winter! It has been absolutley frigid for the most part this winter. Lots of days we've been lucky to have highs in the 20's. Why did that groundhog have to see his shadow?
