Yep...It's happened to me. I knew it was too good to be true.

Okay, yesterday when I came here, it was smart feller. I appreciated that a heck of a lot more then what's currently under "asnchic".

I've been to a TON of bloody forums and seriously, I don't want to have to go again just because someone thought it was funny to mess with someone else's name. Please, just change it. I haven't even done anything to deserve it yet.

Asnchic....Sorry to see you so upset, but nobody is messing with you here....I am pretty sure that "Fart Smeller" has to do with your number of posts....As you can see, I am a "Fart Smeller" too...:)

I am sure someone who has been a member here for awhile will be able to give more detail on the level name vs. post....I look forward to moving up to the next level myself... {mm}

Hope you will be sticking around, this is a really nice place with really nice people!!

God, I feel dumb again.

See, that's why I left the old place. The mods kept changing my name since I differed with their opinions in the abortion issue. So, out of pure ignorance, I was frustrated with the title fart smeller.

:( But I don't sniff gas from the bootay area.

Okay everyone, excuse the new girl. *is learning the ropes*

We're just glad to have the posts that you "fart smellers" {fart} are adding to the forums!! Keep up the good work! You can get the low down on the names under "about us" which I just happened to recently re-read. {toothy}

Back in my day, they didn't use silly names like smart feller and fart smeller. I don't recall what they did use, but it wasn't any of that silliness. {eek}

Maybe since then old wigglefish has had some gaseous problems he isn't sharing with us. And thanks for not sharing them, btw. {fart}

Methane is essential to our environment ... I think :D There are worse gaseous emissions driving around my neighbourhood! {evil}

I think Fart Smeller is kinda funny!!!

Why any one who know me would say that FS fits my personality better than a SF:-P

I asked the same question about the fart smeller name and was relieved when I found out I wasn't the only one...lol I have since graduated to a much nicer name, just keep posting and it will happen!

Is that the same thing as a " frump" or is it a " Fromp"> I get them mixed up. One of them bites the bubbles in the bathtub and the other one sniffs bicycle seats.

I may never post again now I've made the grade.

Fart is one of my fauorite words in the English language, it's so woody.

I'll bet if you ask real nice, they'll somehow work fart into all of your user titles.

Eventually, you get to edit your own user title. I don't remember how many posts it takes, however.

And KalenElendil. :(

I'm still trying to figure out how to pronounce his user name and what it means.

I like how if your post is the last one in this thread and in the Vent Your Spleen Forum, then when you are looking at the frappydoo home page, it says,

"The Fart Smeller..." by Alec.

Maybe we need to come up with a "Fart Smeller" story?

It should definatly involve some sort of wet dog. All smelly stories have wet dogs and skunks.

James, to me - asnchic - would be "as in chick". No?

asnchic

Everyone says that. There are only so many variations, aznchic and I felt it odd to put asianchic though I probably should have.

Besides, it's my SN that I started off with when I learned about internet debate in 02. I have pride in knowing that if you put asnchic in at google, I'm everywhere!

Hah, hah...and I've run into people here who I've debated on different forums, namely, atomic dog.

I'm still enraged that one of my prime debate boards closed this past year. Some of my best work ever...gone. {rip}

We haven't seen Atomic Dog in a while. He was banned temporarily for not following the rules. I think he really joined just to razz us.

That said, he's welcome back as long as he'll follow the rules. I thought he was really funny.

That sounds just like him. I talk to him from time to time but not recently. He's in his last year at Franklin Pierce so I can imagine in a couple of months, he'll be raising hell.

I think his way of thinking is beyond what we're normally used to. He's always been very courteous to me so I have no qualms. But when you get head to head with him in certain issues, then yeah, you can see his darker side.
