We have a housekeeping service that cleans our house twice a month at $75 a clean. There are two ladies who come. I just realized that maybe we should be tipping them - and feel bad that we haven't! Should we be and if so, what's the % ? Is it for each person or lump tip? Also, what about for Christmas?

Thanks for your help!

Your regular tipping question is answered here: http://frappydoo.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2368 - 10-15% split between the workers.

Your Christmas tipping question is answered here: http://www.findalink.net/tippingetiquette.php - One week's pay split between the workers.

It never hurts to be generous, so if you want to tip more, do.

What if those two ladies are the owners of that cleaning-business?! Don't they get paid already when you give them the $75 ?

Yes, there is no need to tip the owners.

I would still do it at Christmas.

I agree, but I doubt I'd give them money ... not personal enough for me ;)
