Ya know...one reason I rarely get on this forum anymore is because it is very clique-ish. Sometimes I feel I am posting to myself. I did sign on the other day, first time in ages and did have a comment in the home sweet home forum asking how things were going, I replied, but I have to wonder why anyone would even ask, considering not one person acknowledged that I even replied. Just seems odd to me...everyone was so friendly at first, and I really enjoyed the forum, but my goodness, it just seems there are only a handful of folks that keep this thing going, and that is too bad, it could be a really neat place to meet folks.

It would be a more fun place if you posted more often. I always enjoy your posts. :) Let's get this place hopping!!!
I don't think anyone wants it to be clique-ish. Help us make it non-clique-ish by posting more about a variety of topics.
Not everyone is building a home, so not everyone is going to be interested in that. But if you keep posting in there and invite some friends, it might take off.

I'm sorry Raybeck :(
I can only speak for myself, but with finals coming up and everything that happens at the beginning of spring, I haven't had much time to post. You all have probably noticed that I'm down to just a couple posts a day now... I try to read everything but I just don't have time to even come close to replying to it all.
I bet that's the case with a lot of other members too... we need more new members who post regularly so that when some don't the place is still lively. The only way that happens is time, I guess. And there's a certain amount of luck involved too.

Sorry guys, guess I was just venting and took it out on some of you. I used to post quite regularly, and not just regarding building a home...I really do understand that is not something that would interest a person, unless they were going through the experience themselves. I am beginning to wonder if we will ever get the thing completed, but that's another story.
I'll try and post more myself, everyone is busy, but we do need more members...

I'm sorry you felt that way. That's sure not what we want.
Welcome back, anyhoo. Thanks for posting.

I just showed up to the forum. I find that the few people that do post post enough for it to matter. We just need to invite people here to get a large group to post.

Teresa, don't pay any attention to me...like I said...I was just having a bum day and took it out on friends (now that's smart, right?) We are building a house and I guess I just let it get to me for a few minutes...we are now in month number 17 on the house, and it's coming a long (but slooooowly), anyway, I think you will like this forum, it does need more posters, so glad you joined.

17 months is a long time to be dealing with a builder and wishing you were already in your home.

Thinking of the end results have kept me going. I know a lot of folks would love to have my problem...lol I need to count my blessings more often, but sometimes you just explode and not always at the best times, I might add!!!

I haven't found it to be click-y. I haven't been here too much but I will start posting more.
