I'm trying to decide between:
New tool chest to help clean up garage.
Either Dreamweaver or GoLive for web development.
I don't know what else.

It's too early to think about Christmas! I really don't know what I'd like this year. Maybe a new leather jacket. Other than that I don't know {dizzy}

Great thread!

I've had to say I just want cash, or DVDs, or Software. One of my households just gives us cash to buy what we want with, the other stays traditional with presents and all - the big gift for me at that house is usually tickets to some sporting event.

The cash is best because obviously the wrapped presents are supposed to be a surprise, but I doubt my parents would have a good idea of what DVD or program I would want.

Oh Boy.....I love Christmas!!
I would like to get a new computer center....this desk is so old and ugly.
Actually I would love to get a new house, in a new place. I hate living here.
No more jewelry!!!!
Hubby has bought me just about every kind of jewelry imaginable.
I wouldn't mind getting some cash either....that would be nice.....I could get a new tattoo. I love tattoos.
Clothes would be cool...preferably shirts. I love having lots of shirts. Really big ones.

and Beezwax, if you're reading this....'NEW SNEAKERS!!!!'
for some strange reason, my sneakers smell like cat peepee---I don't even have a cat!!

Geez it's Christmas already??!?
I'd like to have some new country CDs...a new racing radio to listen in on race teams during the race, while at the track.
Some new diecast, if you're looking Karen...Umm, a telescope to see what's really out there...Umm, some new diecast...Maybe some new sneakers and....uh, did I say some new diecast?
Nascar 2001 and Army Men-Land Sea Air, because I am still a kid...maybe some new diecast.
Seriously though, I don't need anything, because I already have it all!
A nice home, beautiful wife and family, good job and great friends....who I'd like to see more often.
but I could use some new diecast.

First of all, Karen, what tattoos do you have? I'm curious...I would like to get one, but have been told it is extremely painful, and I'm a woosy in that department. For christmas I think I want a new chair!! My favorite chair is getting a little worn, and a new lazy boy rocker/recliner sounds nice!!! I also thought about a new computer stand, I have a brand new compaq presario computer and it sits on a card table!!! (uggggh) But then a digital camera sounds nice too!!! (so many decsions what shall I do?) :) And I also collect Boyd's Bears so I hope I get some of those!! My husband wants a miter saw, so that is easy. I have almost all my christmas shopping done, so all I have to worry about is the actual meal itself!!! We should have a thread when it gets closer to christmas on what everyone is having! Maybe I could get some new ideas!!!

well Deb, it really depends on your threshold for pain. It didn't hurt me at all, for some odd reason, my pain threshold is extremely high. ya think it has anything to do with giving natural birth, with no meds, six times!?!?
anyhow, it isn't so bad.
I've got a ring of red hawaiian flowers around my right ankle...on my back right shoulder I have a fairly large one of a heart in between two roses..the heart has a banner through it saying 'Robert'...this was my first....across my lower back I have a tribal design with a long stem rose in the center of it....and around the back and sides of neck is a design, which I drew myself, of a vine of hearts. It is actually the prettiest tattoo I have ever seen...hubby thinks so too, and he is an expert on them....he's completely covered!
the design consists of a swirly vine with green leaves, in the center directly on the back of my neck, is the larger heart..it is a little bigger than a quarter, it's red outlined in faded out yellow..then there is purple hearts, one on each side of the bigger one..they are purple outlined in faded out yellow also...on each side of those, are smaller red ones outlined in faded out yellow. Then at the end of both sides, are two more purple ones.
That is my favorite one...It's original and unique...never seen anything even remotely similar.

For Christmas I would like to get a dragon...I already have the picture for it. Not sure where I would like to put it though. Maybe on my other back shoulder. I don't like them on upper arms or on chest or upper legs....on women. I think those are manly spots for tattoos.
Just an opinion!
I also want a new playstation game.
Something that will take me a while to finish..like Diablo. That took me months to complete. I like games with dragons and warriors and stuff.
Christmas is coming real quick ppl! Get out those wish lists.
and Deb, I think your idea for a thread about our holiday meals sounds fantastic!!

Kezzer I hope you are healthy as all get out by Christmas! :)

I want a candle making kit so I can make my own scented candles. Love those things, and I've heard they aren't too hard to make. Can burn 6 or 7 of 'em up in a week, so it would be a good investment.

Debby, I have 2 tattoos also. I have a little frog on my left shoulder and a dragon my hubby drew on my right calf. I want another but I'm not sure what or where I want it.

One thing I just thought of I'd like for Christmas is The Perfect Storm. But aside from that and a new jacket I'm stumped!

Kezzer,
you are as freaky as I am about the weather.....so I must ask...

LOL
I am serious!!

Your tattoos sound really cool too Kezzer!

That sounds like a fantastic idea!
I love candles too...I have them all over the house....I do mean all over!
Matter of fact, my mom just returned from Ireland and she brought me this beautiful candle...it is white with a detailed, color picture of the entire country on the front of it. It has the city names and everything...it is gorgeous!!
I wish I could show you Kez.
ya know, you and I are too much alike! It scares me sometimes....I think we were sisters in a previous life or something.

Well I meant the movie, But I'd love a real one too! I was so disappointed this summer, there weren't very many good storms>:(
Wow, That candle sounds magnificent. I have one with froggies on it, I also have some frog and turtle shaped ones. Have you seen those gel candles? They have shells and other small things in them?? I love those too. I also have one from bath and body works that looks like fruit salad in a canning jar. It even smelled like fruit salad. That was heaven!

Ok....gottcha.....I haven't seen that movie yet, but someone told me it wasn't any good. I think it looks awesome!

Those gel candles sound beautiful.
I have a Bath and Body Works around here too, I think I'll go over there today and see if they have any of those fruit salad candles....it sounds like it is really nice looking. I like the scented ones, but they burn down so quickly. Maybe I just use them too much!
You know they sell candle making sets at Toys R Us....they are for children, but they look really cool. I believe they are made by RoseArt.

Karen, I also had heard The Perfect Storm wasn't very good, but then a close friend of mine rented it, and she said, I don't know where you heard that movie wasn't very good, because it was awesome!! So now i can't wait to see it!! Also, for christmas, besides the items I mentioned already, I would love to have a set of T-fal cookware, or maybe some new clothes. :)

I liked it. Some people get hung up on whether or not it was accurate. It was entertaining--that's all I care about.

TWTCommish
11-29-2000, 01:07 AM
Yup, I'm hung up on it. I didn't think it was entertaining, and it bugs me that it was made up. It was nearly ALL made up - that's what gets me.

The movie would have been better had it all been real, because I'd be thinking "Wow, this really happened."

jamesglewisf

How could they have made the real-life story without a survivor? It had to be almost entirely made up.

Debby
11-30-2000, 07:55 PM
Oh pooh, now I know there's no survivors.

But your right...movies are suppose to intertain us...if you want the real thing, watch CNN.

jamesglewisf
11-30-2000, 07:56 PM
Sorry, I thought that was universal knowledge. It doesn't really ruin the story. I knew it before I watched the movie.

Debby
11-30-2000, 08:06 PM
No, I didn't know it, but that's okay, I'm sure I will enjoy it just the same. At least now I will be prepared!! LOL :)
