I haven't figured out what the prize is yet, but whoever comes up with the funniest definition for "FrappyDoo" will win a prize.

After the contest is over, I'll reveal its origin.

It's the polite definition of that stuff birds leave on your car right after you washed it {toothy}

You think that's funny, you ought to see my hair in the morning. {fro}

It's not in AltaVista or Google. My 2 guesses would be:

1. You invented it/something very personal.

2. Some very obscure song.

Frappydoo......it's frivelous and happy stuff to do!!

I like Debbie's version best! Frivolous-happy things to do ... sounds like something I'd want to be a part of!

Of course, I'm thinking there could be another meaning?? Think Marge Simpson's hair, only with that mile-high hairdo made of a frozen concoction of shaved ice and coffee, and tinted blue with blueberry flavoring. There you have it. Frappe-doo!

Great one Debby!

C'mon people, let's keep them coming. I haven't heard from most of you. How are you going to win the big prize?

Debby

Nobody else?

We're going to let it go to December 5, and then I'll announce the true origin of FrappyDoo! and a winner of the contest. I still need to come up with the prize.

Aha!! Today is the day we find out what Frappydoo means! I haven't guessed yet because I haven't been able to come up with anything... for some reason it keeps reminding me of something from the old Dobie Gillis shows! {toothy} Or an Anne Margaret "dance" from back in the 50's and 60's. Something like the clam. I've been lost... so Jim, I'm really looking forward to hearing what it means! Tell! Tell! Teellll Already!! *LOL*

The real definition is from my father's longtime executive assistant. Her grandson used to declare "Frappy Doo!" when he was upset about something. It was kind of a 3-4 year-old's version of swearing. They could never figure out from where he got it or how he came up with it, but it always sounded funny. Well, his grandmother says it at the office all the time, and I've always thought it was funny.

I think the reason I was stumped was because the other forum I am a member of....Chins & Quills, has a different place for their similies, right next to where you post, and I didn't look up at the top. I'm not real observant! :)

Gosh Karen, I don't know....it's too early to have a drink and celebrate!! LOL...

And boy do I feel really silly...I just realized the link for the similies IS right next to where you post. Could've sworn it didn't used to be....but like I said...I am very unobservant.(sp)
