Hello, Frappers. Hope the past week or so has been good to you! Guess I can't REALLY complain, but things just haven't gone the way I'd planned.
We had Easter weekend plans to go to my husband's sister's house, and they were cancelled. I didn't really mind that, because we'd see them another time and I really wanted to do something else, anyway! I was all set and looking forward to for our long Holiday weekend away, when DH walks in to tell me the Easter plans are back on with his sister! I was not overjoyed. OFF we go to the OTHER side of Massachussetts.
We were at her house hardly an hour, when another intended guest ended up in the Emergency Room. OFF we all go to visit our downed compadre - appendix burst. OFF we go back to my sister-in-laws to await word of the outcome of the surgery.
Needless to say, we had Chinese take-out for dinner (it was kind of fun, actually!) Friday night! The friend is fine and long-since home, BTW. We did have a lovely Easter, but it just wasn't what I had my heart set on.
The rest of the week went pretty much the same - nothing as planned and constant running and jumping through hoops. I have to say, I'm POOPED!!!!
