Good Morning!:)
I am starting the daily thread today as it is almost over for me! I hope everyone had a GREAT weekend. It was a holiday weekend in Russia and I travelled to Tallinn, Estonia. It is SOOOOO beautiful. We stayed in the old city with cobblestone streets and no traffic. Yeah! No metro!! It was very western and after having been in Moscow for about 2 1/2 months it was nice to read english and eat food with western flavor. If you ever decide to travel to Europe-make a trip to Estonia. There is only 1 million people(I think)and it makes for a quiet and relaxing vacation.
Catch me up on the election results. It feels weird to not know who the president is!

This place sure is quiet. Did everybody stay up late watching the election coverage?

Sorry for beginning my day so late. I swore I wasn't going to watch the elections until this morning to find out who got elected. But, my 23 year old guilted me into it. She was saying mom, this is history on so many levels you have to watch, your great grandchildren will read about this election in their history classes. So..... I stayed up until about 4PM. My goodness I never stay up past about 11PM. So my fingers are kinda spastic this morning.
Hope everyone had a great night,
CJ

Whew....finally here!
I too stayed up all night watching the election coverage.
And I do mean allllllll night.
I went to sleep at 5:00 this morning....I tried to sleep, but I woke up every 20 minutes all night long...kept turning the TV on and checking into it, then turning it off.
It was strange...My eyes were bugging out, I kept chewing on my lip....etc.....all night!
anyhow, I spent the day, off the puter, with Beezwax. It was his last day at home....He is going back to work tomorrow. He has been off for two months due to a surgery.
He is all better and all rested up now.
He is so glad to be going back too.
We went to his physical therapy, then to his work to let them know he was returning...then to Kmart....then home...then back out to get some fresh, soft pretzels, then picked up the kids' from school, then home again.
This place seems to have been empty all day!
What is up with that?
I guess everyone was up all night.

waaah!! Everyone got to watch the election but me:( We haven't gotten our cable hooked up yet since the move and the cable guy was supposed to come today and never showed. We got our first washing machine today!! I'm very happy about that. Now I just need the hoses so I can hook it up. Does anyone know where I could get washing machine hoses???

I guess the cable guy did come. I decided for the heck of it to hook up the box and it actually worked!! Woohoo!! I have TV again. And due to the strategic location of my computer I can now watch TV and surf the net.
