Hi,

I just felt the need to list some of those little things that make life more enjoyable. Some may strike you as odd, but here's my list:

Hot Pockets: Man oh man do I love those things. I eat 4 or 5 for lunch sometimes. They're quick and easy - and save me a lot of time.

Michael Jackson: This guy's music is under-rated today, even though he was dominating not long ago. I can't get enough of his hits...it never fails to get me pumped up to some degree. More people my age should go back and honestly listen to it objectively.

Bowling/Friends: I put these two together because my younger brother Jeremy and my best friend Adam (the three of us, that is) like to go bowling a lot, and it's a lot of fun. I love playing a friendly, yet competitive game with friends. I love to win, I like having fun with them, and I like to try to impress them. It's a blast.

Helping Someone: I post on several forums online, and despite the good times I have here on FrappyDoo!, I still post on SitePoint.com the most. I get such a kick out of helping people there, although at times I myself am posting there for help. To have someone thank me or complement me for assisting them with a technical problem (or sometimes otherwise) is great. Sometimes I even get a weird adrenaline rush. :)

A Job Well Done: This refers to lots of things, but for me it's either computer projects, or cleaning projects. I love it when my room is freshly cleaned and orderly, and I love the feeling of a major database script fully completed and working smoothly.

War/Strategy Games: I love games like this. KKND, KKND 2, Red Alert 1 (ordered #2 recently!!!), I eat them up. I consider war to be an art of sorts.

And heck, have you seen today's games? You can tell a tank and some troops to guard a bridge and fire at any enemy that come near, assign other vehicles to guard, say, a building or another tank, and fire upon an enemy if it gets within firing range of the thing they're guarding.

You can even launch naval attacks, fire atomic missles, and even do some borderline supernatural stuff, like transport your tank into the enemy base. You can also send spies and such into their base.

Games like this are amazing - you wouldn't believe how detailed they are - and the graphics are great! Nothing beats playing 2 or 3 friends online (or through a network) this way in a 3 or 4 player game - all out war between all the armies! And you can ally and team up! I eat it up.

That's all I can think of right now. :)

I know what you mean about "snugly" - our family lives for that!

Another thing to add:

- The way kids are when they wake up - especially from a nap. Hair is messed up, and they have this weird have confused/half excited look in their eyes.

Charlie, our 3 year old, once woke up from a nap, yelled down from the top of the stairs while we were watching a movie: "Is that a DINOSAUR MOVIE?", and came bumbling down the steps at an incredible rate without falling down, running down to sit in front of the TV.

Our pets. Every day I feel like I'm surrounded by love.

A home of our own, instead of having to rent. (took awhile)

My hubby calling me everyday.

Waking up every morning with fairly good health.

Naw, I'm not screwed up - Charlie is my younger step-brother. Yeah, big gap there, huh? My parents had me very young - both are around 40 or so - much younger than my parent's frieds.

In fact, my dad proposed to my mom when he was just about 6-9 months older than I am now. She was 2 years older, though.

Wow, that's a big difference. My husbands uncle is only about 6 years older then he is... so I know how messsed up things can get. Glad to hear you weren't a daddy at 12! {toothy}

Hey, I know how that goes.
My children's uncle Joe is only 15 years old...but he's taller than me and hubby, and we're both 5'10 1/2".
The age thing is funny because my oldest son is only 2-1/2 yrs younger than Uncle Joe!!

My best friend Adam is my age and is an uncle...his sister is over 20 and married, of course. Things will be similar for Charlie - he'll probably be an uncle to one my kid's, assuming I get married in my mid-twenties or so.
