This probably isn't what you want to hear, but this is what I think:

A. It doesn't sound very hopeful for their getting back together, but you never know.
B. It doesn't sound hopeful for you having a real relationship with him while he is pining for her.
C. I wouldn't pursue a man who would date you while he was still separated and not yet divorced.
D. I especially wouldn't pursue a man who would date you while he was still separated and not yet divorced and hoping to reconcile with his wife.
E. If you really loved him, you would be hoping that he would reconcile with his wife, not dump her for you.

James is right Mary. He is coming to you with alot of baggage. Just reading your post made a ton of red flags go off in my head.
