New Snake

We got a new snake last night. It's a gorgeous columbian boa constrictor. We're trying to do reptile rescue and this was our first rescue! The owners gave him away because they just had a baby and were afraid of it getting out and not having enough time to care for it. He's a great looking snake, nice and plump, 8 feet long! When I take a picture I'll have to put it up on my home page for you all to see.

*ahem* Isn't someone coming up on TV pretty soon? On the National Geographic show? What was the date, channel and time again? I don't want to miss this!!

Oh my gosh, I almost forgot!! December 10th, cnbc(whatever channel that is for everyone else because everyone's cable channels are different) I believe 8pm. I'm getting nervous!! I really don't want to see how horrible I'm going to look!! and what a mess that apartment was. Now that we have such a cool snake room I wish that it had been filmed after we moved instead of while we were in that little crampy apartmment.

We used to have a lot of fun with snakes when I worked at a camp. They were fun to watch. We once saw a king snake (I believe) eating a copperhead. That was pretty cool.

We also saw one of those legless lizzards that looks like a snake but has eyelids.
