I am new here, I have 3 cats, a dog and some fish

I have 3 cats, a dog and some fish, one of my cats is 7 months old he likes riding my other cats tails and is wild, is there any way to stop this behavior or will he stop when he gets older? He has been doing this since we got him in October, my other 2 cats do not like it.

so you have a 7 month little terror? I train dogs, but I would venture to guess the older cats will discipline him. I do know that the more attention a kitten gets from people, the more lovable and cuddly they seem to be when they grow up.

A water bottle with a touch of vinegar and use it every time his behavior warrants it. Cats hate water and the added smell of vinegar is another upsetting factor. It won't hurt him either. We used this on our cat when she was little. It worked for us to detour bad manners.

Plus I don't spanking with a newspaper, flyswatter, hand, etc..... Water gets the point across without physically having to discipline her.
