I need to get a new digital/analog cell phone. I currently have a Nokia 6160 through AT&T Wireless, but it is just about broken. Does anybody have any recommendations?

I'm really sorry I can't give you any first hand advice. We live in an actual "dead zone". Cell phones or beepers won't work within ten miles of here. My husband does have a Nextel cell-phone that his employer furnishes him with. He seems to like it very much. Sorry, I know that wasn't much help.

I have a Motorola StarTAC flip-phone that I am satisfied with. It doesn't have any of the games and stuff that all the new ones are coming out with, but it does quite well. It is digital, I can plug a lap-top into it and use a dial-up connection if I wanted to. I'm on ADSL right now in my house and love it...we also have an 8 port hub and router, so when I need on I can just plug in basically anywhere in the house.
Anyhow...I am pleased with the StarTAC I have. It was pricey at $215 when I purchased it, but now they are giving them away for free...go figure!

What are those flip cell phones that can be used like a speakerphone? Seems like battery hog, but pretty cool though.

A couple weeks ago i saw an older style Mobile with a pull out ANTENNA!! (Like they all used to have) I think it was DIGITAL but it the style was "90s" (And the user said no dropped calls, etc) -- Yes i know why too .. the antenna is everything!!

I cant stand cell phones today, small, cheap garbage!! (No antennas, dropped calls, etc)

I wonder why!!!
