I know someone will post or think that she is just a cat. Well no she is not just a cat. She is my friend, she is like one of my children, and she is missing. I feel like she is out there somewhere in this remote neighborhood and I can't get to her and help her. I fear she is dead. She hasn't shown up since Thursday at 5 p.m. None of our neighbors have seen her. I am calling the city pound today to see if someone took her in. I don't know how parents do it that loose an actual child. This is driving me nuts. I don't want to loose her. I had to vent this morning because I feel so helpless. I love Andy Renea. How do I tell our 12 year old that her cat of 12 years is missing. They grew up together. Jodee is in Ft. Worth and has no clue. I pray I find that little cat and then keep her indoors from now on. I hope that if someone has her they let her come home. Can't they see the collar? I hope that if coyotes got her that she didn't suffer much. Where is my baby?

My animal loving heart bleeds for you. I certainly hope you get her back. 12 isn't all that old for a cat is it? Let us know how it turns out. Let's not think about coyotes, just yet.=^.^= "come on home kitty, your people love you"

Well it seems she came home while I was the grocery store.
She was completely covered in dirt, breathing rapidly, hungry beyond hungry, and wanted right back out. The girls made her stay in till I got home. I bathed her and then called the neighbors. Seems their cat, Blackie, was gone for a the same length of time. They didn't give it much thought because he is a tomcat and they roam. But he was dirty from head to toe, hungry, and wanted right back out. So we are thinking they formed their own little gang and went prowling much like ferral cats do. Which I don't like at all. However, we had some excitement at our house last night and Andy slipped back out. She was here at breakfast and managed to get back outside before I got up. Aggravating as all get out just trying to train my family in the fact I don't want her out at all. But she slept all day Saturday and knew I was mad at her.

I guess I have to let her out. The full day I made her stay in the house I noticed she never used her litter box. She hates using her litter box. So outside it is to do her business. Plus the mockingbirds eventually run her back in.
