{chef}Did everyone have a GREAT Thanksgiving? I was pleasantly surprised with the Thanksgiving feast here in Moscow. We had a HUGE turkey{chicken} and amazing pumpkin and apple pies just like home{yum}! I hope everyone has a great day! See ya on Monday:)

Good Morning everyone!!! I woke up with out heat and hot water :( Well at least it's still kinda warm in here! But I hope the heat kicks on soon cuz it's only in the 20's today!!!

I'm staring at a fridge full of leftovers... I couldn't eat another bite of anything. Ate once today and feel like I've got a basketball in my tummy. oof! {Oinky smiley}

The Stars are up 3-nil! All because Jim was there giving his encouragement. Norm Green still stinks. ;)

I've been watching sports all day. I'm not doing too good either...:

12:00 noon: State Class 2A HS football championship: Triton Cobras v Otter Tail Central Bulldogs (no, not the otters. Triton, about 25 miles from where i live, won 31-12. They beat my hometown team 43-6 in the regular season. I'll still cheer for them anyway. Thats a W in my column.

1:00: My Minnesota Wild played Chicago at home.. won 2-0 on 2 assists from Stacey Roest. Finally starting to get something on the Power Play.. now I'm 2-0.

3:00: Women's Basketball: Georgia Bulldogs vs. Notre Dame Fighitng Irish. Most of you know i'm not around either of the schools, but Georgia's Miller Twins (Coco and Kelli) come from Mayo High School right here in Rochester Minnesota. Always cheer for 'em when i can. However, they lost 75-73. Kelli had a chance to win with a last-second 3-pointer from the point, but it caught nothing but air. VERY uncharacteristic. I slip to 2-1.

5:45: Class 4A HS football championship: Cambridige-Isanti Bluejackets v St. Thomas Academy Cadets. Why do i care? My great aunt's grandson coaches St. Thomas. I was forced into cheering for them. They started out good, but their D fell apart in the 2nd half. Cambridge wins 24-14. I'm back to .500

7:00: # 1 Michigan State Spartans Hockey vs. #2 Minnesota Golden Gophers. We came out with a 1-0 lead thru 2, but thru a flurry of 3rd-period goals the spartans went ahead 3-2 with 1:25 left and we never came back. Phooey!!!! We play the Wolverines tomorrow. We better get 'em. 2-3.

9:00: My final chance to get back to even for the day: Class 5A Championship. Why do i care? Its the 5A championship of the state, darnit! The # 1 Eden Prairie Eagles and the #2, defending champion Cretin-Durham-Hall Raiders are better than a whole lot of college teams. I'm cheering for C-D-H, mainly because i hate Eden Prairie. :) But in the 3rd Quarter, its the Eagles 14, Raiders 14.
